Axxair is announcing the CC + SASL-150, the world's first all-in-one orbital cutting and welding machine Axxair already offers the largest range worldwide of cutting machines using a saw blade; the CC range is made up of nine machines suitable for cutting from 5 to 782mm: CC80; CC120; CC170; CC220; CC320; CC420; CC520; CC620; CC720

Ultimate in belt cleaning technology claimed
Ace Arc has recently been appointed as sole UK distributor for Dirt Whacker belt cleaning equipment, claimed as the ultimate in belt cleaning technology
Automatic belt cleaner for any belt width
The Dirt Whacker belt cleaner from Ace Arc provides automatic operation, with permanent self-compensating adjustment against wear, for any belt width
In operation, the powered saw blade first penetrates the thickness of the tube and then turns around the tube to cut it.
This concept guarantees a perpendicular cut of 0.25mm max and a limited burr - in only a few seconds.
TIG orbital welding or manual TIG can be carried out directly after the cut.
The SASL-150 power supply, combined with the CC range, offers a perfect response to all prefab tube processing applications.
This system is perfectly adapted for on-site jobs as well as in the shop floor for pharmaceutical, food processing, biotechnology and aerospace applications.
It can weld applications such as tube-tube, tube-elbow, tube-flange, tube-reduction, tube vane, etc It covers all diameters from 15 to 620 mm on wall thickness from 0.5 up to 2.5mm.
The SASL-150 is a multifunctional power supply using the TIG or GTAW process.
It is the basis for creating different applications around orbital fusion welding or with wire feed.
It is possible to combine the SASL-150 with a cooling unit with simple fittings for high welding duty cycles where a cooled torch is requested.
It is also possible to add a wire feeder for single-pass welding on thin tubes or for the root pass on thicker tubes.
The SASL-150 is completely controlled through a microprocessor and, as such, is programmable.
The welds can therefore meet or even exceed industry specifications.
Axxair's welding equipment is particularly suitable for stainless steel but also handles Titanium, Hastelloy and Inconel.
The tube qualities that are ideal for that process are grouped under SMS, DIN, imperial and metric standards.
Axxair is always trying to innovate in its field, which has helped the company to expand quickly.
Other factors to note are high quality manufacturing facilities, a dynamic research and development department and worldwide distribution via a network of resellers.
