An Advanced Supplies product story

The Norcross MXBO viscosity sensor is totally unaffected by level, flow or turbulence for high or low mix conditions.

A simple, sensitive and rugged tank mounted viscosity sensor for use with water and solvent-based inks, coatings, adhesives, chemicals, and paints is now available from Norcross via UK agents Advanced Supplies .

The Norcross MXBO viscosity sensor uses the proven "piston time-of-fall" method for measuring viscosities and is PLC-compatible for use with a customer's existing process controller.

Suitable for water and solvent-based applications with open tanks between 254 and 610mm deep, the MXBO is totally unaffected by level, flow or turbulence for high or low mix conditions.

Featuring all stainless steel wetted parts and an open rod construction; the Norcross MXBO viscosity sensor is easy to clean and works under atmospheric pressure.

Capable of detecting the difference between the viscosity of boiling water and ambient water, the MXBO is designed to give many years of trouble-free operation without the need for constant upgrades and calibration.

Literature, pricing and demonstration equipment are available upon request.
