The Bauer company have considerable experience in the production of precision blanked components, and for many years have manufactured disc springs incorporated into spring packs used throughout industry in many parts of the world.

Their products provide long term, reliable performance, very often in safety critical areas and their extensive engineering expertise is now being made available for the production of other manufacturers component products.

Parts, particularly those with complex geometry, could involve multi-machining operations using conventional production methods.

More cost effective precision blanking, however, can be successfully undertaken for high volume operations.

Very close tolerances can be maintained on linear accuracy, including hole diameters, as well as flatness and three dimensional contours.

Products can be manufactured in spring steels and even more exotic metals ranging from light to heavy gauge materials.

Where necessary, heat treatments and special product finishes or coatings can also be carried out.

Products in material thichnesses up to 10mm can be manufactured, from strip widths up to 650mm (limited to 300mm where a transfer device is required on the press during production).

Parts are produced with multi-impression tooling which guarantees total consistency of all components covering a wide spectrum of sizes.

The elimination of multiple stage production ensures repeatable accuracy to very fine limits, leading to zero defect production with considerable savings on component costs for manufacture in appropriate quantities.

The service has been successfully utilised for the supply of motor vehicle components, including parts for seat belts, door locks, windscreen wipers etc.

Other parts for household white goods and gardening tools have also been manufactured to cover a wide range of strength, durability and performance specifications.
