High volume blanked parts with precision tolerance
The Bauer company have considerable experience in the production of precision blanked components, and for many years have manufactured disc springs for incorporation into spring packs
Disc springs meet DIN 2093 requirements
Individual Christian Bauer spring discs can be combined in series, parallel or mixed stack combinations to provide custom-designed systems.
Disc springs meet DIN 2093 requirements
Disc springs manufactured to international standard DIN 2093 are precision products produced to exacting standards.
These latter products are blanked from spring steel prior to hardening, with very tight tolerances maintained on bore hole dimensions.
Production is subject to the latest testing techniques FMEA, MFU and SPC for total quality assurance.
As a consequence recognition has been achieved by: * DIN EN ISO9001; * QS9000; * VDA 6.1; * AD-Merkblatt W0/TRD 100; and * KTA 1401 and QSP 4a.
The economies of volume production for critical components can be successfully coupled with precision manufacture covering overall dimensions, hole piercings, complex shapes and material thicknesses.
This can also be complemented with hardening, coating and other treatments to achieve the level of wear, durability or spring tensions required for the application.
Production is based upon considerable experience in the field of precision blanking, utilising multi-impression tooling to maintain a high level of manufacturing capacity while still guaranteeing consistent product quality to meet the most demanding standards.
A wide range of high performance metals can be accommodated including spring steels, covering sheet thicknesses up to 10mm and strip widths of 650mm.
Specialised heat treatments together with protective coatings can also be undertaken, to provide a total single-source supply for products that conventionally could involve several machining and process applications.
