Conical Spring Washers from Bauer are used to counteract the loss of pre-load of a bolted connection for bolts of property classes 8.8 to 10.9.
They are most effective on axially loaded short bolts, where they increase the axial compliance.
Conical Spring Washers are highly stressed components and are therefore only recommended for static or infrequent varying-load applications.
Nominal bolt size ranges from 2-30mm and they are available in a variety of materials and finishes: spring steel; blank/oiled only; phosphate and oiled; mechanical zinc plating stainless steel - 1.4310 and 1.4568 Nickel Alloy - Inconel 718.
