Bauer is offering ground precision vanes, rotors and housings for vane pumps for the common rail diesel system.
The rotor contains multiple vanes that slide in radial slots.
The rotor and outside casing (housing) are eccentric.
The vanes maintain contact with the casing by centrifugal force and pressure (spring loaded).
The dimensional tolerances of the vanes and the rotor slots present a great challenge since the required accuracy is in the Micrometer Range (1um = 0.001mm = 0.00004in).
Ground parts are in flat or cylindrical shape as required.
Lot size is up to 100,000/day.
