Following the recent launch of the UDS7 Electronic Dual Pressure Switch, Barksdale Control Products is now launching an OEM version of the UDS7, called Switch 2000.
Following the recent launch of the UDS7 Electronic Dual Pressure Switch, Barksdale Control Products is now launching an OEM version of the UDS7, called Switch 2000.
Offering high levels of accuracy, reliability and performance, the new microprocessor controlled pressure switch is ideal for pressure measurement in a wide range of OEM applications, including automotive systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, lubrication monitoring, machine tools and injection moulding machines.
Based on piezoresistive sensor technology, Switch 2000 offers greater precision than traditional mechanical pressure switches.
It has an accuracy of +/-0.5% f.s., repeatability of +/-0.1% f.s., no switch point drift and is designed to operate over measurement ranges of 0 to 10 bar up to 0 to 600 bar.
In addition, the new device offers 2 switch outputs, peak pressure value memory and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25C to +100C.
With a compact, IP65 rated, aluminium die cast housing and stainless steel wetted parts, the new pressure switch offers long term stability and is resistant to both shock and vibration.
In particular, each new Switch 2000 device is subjected to significant shock and vibration testing and are proven to withstand up to 10g for vibration and up to 50g for shock.
The new Switch 2000 pressure switch also incorporates a range of safety features.
They are self monitoring and are designed for permanent monitoring of varying parameters configured via an easy to programme tamper proof keypad, which can be locked to prevent unauthorised access.
Visual display, including error indication, is provided by a 3 digit, 7 segment LED alphanumeric display, which also offers both bar or psi readings.
