The UDS2-V2 is the latest addition to the Barksdale electronic switch family, upgrading the company's product portfolio for mobile pressure applications.
The UDS2-V2 is the latest addition to the Barksdale electronic switch family, upgrading the company's product portfolio for mobile pressure applications.
Key features of these pressure switches are their long-term stability together with their sturdy and compact design.
They are designed for pressure control of engines, pumps, filters, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems, with up to two switching points and an optional analogue output available.
For OEM applications the configuration of the switches (eg closing or opening switching point and switching hysteresis) can be factory set to customer specifications, which prevents any unauthorised setting adjustments.
However, when required the user can adjust the switching parameters using an optional programming module.
The programming module comes complete with a connecting cable for the pressure switch, an RS232 cable to the PC and the calibrating software.
The parameters can easily be set via PC under Windows or an optional handheld device within a few seconds.
As there are no mechanical components like potentiometers, hand-actuated auxiliary switches etc, passive deviation of the settings can be excluded even under the most extreme shock and vibration conditions.
