Switches take control of fluid flows

A Barksdale Control Products product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Oct 26, 2006

Robust and dirt resistant flow switches are designed for measuring and controlling liquid media.

Barksdale has extended its range of flow switches with two robust and dirt resistant products for measuring and controlling liquid media.

The BFS 50 and BFS 100 are designed for applications in cooling systems and measuring and control equipment.

The set point can be factory set at any desired flow rate, and the switches may be mounted in any orientation while still providing high functional safety and switching accuracy.

The BFS 50 covers flow ranges from 0.4-12 to 3-90 litre/min for water.

The housing is in brass, and the accuracy class is +/- 0.3 litre/min.

The BFS 100 covers the flow range from 1-6 to 1-11 litre/min for water, and is available in POM or in brass.

The accuracy class is +/-10% full scale.

Both devices are available now.
