Tubing pumps handle inks, adhesives and coatings

A Barnant product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jul 17, 2001

Ideal for inks, adhesives and coatings of all types, the Easy-Load pumps from Barnant have a simple overthrow lever to release and reset tubing, so changeover is fast, easy and neat

Printers, converters, packaging companies and their equipment suppliers can benefit from the design features of Easy-Load pumps from Barnant, originators of Masterflex peristaltic tubing pump technology.

Because tubing pumps have no wetted parts and operate on the progressive cavitation principle of a roller assembly precisely dosing fixed amounts of media through the tubing, these pumps are ideal for inks, adhesives and coatings of all types.

Moreover, with the Easy-Load pumps from Barnant, a simple overthrow lever releases and resets tubing, so changeover is fast, easy and neat.

Tubing is available in many materials to handle solvent-based, water-based and UV materials.

Pumps are offered by Barnant to deliver flow rates from 0.13 to 3.5 GPM with AC, brushless DC or air-powered drives for hazardous-area duty.

Fixed or variable flow, single or multi-head designs are standard.

A special-duty motor, UL Listed for Class 1, Group D, Division 1 hazardous locations is also available in a standard package.

All pumps are designed and manufactured to rigorous ISO quality standards at Barnant.

OEM, custom design and distributor inquiries invited.
