Peristaltic pumping systems handle high volumes

A Barnant product story

The new Masterflex B/T RapidLoad line of direct drive peristaltic pumping systems is designed for high volume, high accuracy bulk fluid transfer and dispensing applications.

Barnant Company is pleased to introduce the new Masterflex B/T RapidLoad line of direct drive peristaltic pumping systems for high volume, high accuracy bulk fluid transfer and dispensing applications.

The new pump line offers flow rate capacities to 9.5 GPM and is available in a wide range of models, including fixed or variable speed, analogue or digital, hazardous duty, air-powered, wash down, and CIP/SIP- (clean-in-place/sterilise-in-place) capable systems.

The new RapidLoad pump head makes tubing changes simple.

The head features a new, innovative occlusion system for quickly and easily loading tubing without tools, or lubrication.

No manual adjustment is required, either - occlusion is set when the pump head door is closed.

New, patent-pending, PerfectPosition tube retention system automatically holds and retains tubing during loading.

Easy-to-read markings eliminate guesswork by indicating the exact length of tubing to load.

As an important safety feature, the pump's cast aluminium/powder coated cover prevents fingers, tools and other objects from coming in contact with the roller mechanism while in operation, and the pump automatically switches off when the cover is opened.

Corrosion-resistant B/T RapidLoad peristaltic pumps are ideally suited where rugged dependability and high volume pumping is required, such as pharmaceutical, food, chemical, wastewater and other high-volume applications.

Every pump in the line offers a powerful, UL and cUL recognised motor for efficient transfer of viscous or shear-sensitive materials.

Models meeting CE and ATEX standards are also available.

Fluid only contacts the tubing, providing for contamination-free pumping - and clean-up is easy.

Barnant will be exhibiting at WEFTEC 2006, Booth 5991.
