Zlinx Modbus industrial grade radio modems can do the job faster, more easily and less expensively than stringing cable.

Zlinx Modbus industrial grade radio modems from B and B Electronics can do the job faster, more easily and less expensively than stringing cable.

The Zlinx family of industrial radio modems has a reputation for robust and reliable high speed, secure communication.

They are designed to provide wide area system coverage to ensure reliable, secure, and cost effective transmission of critical data to remote sites.

Zlinx will transmit a serial signal transparently up to 65km.

Features include an easily accessible terminal block, along with indicator lights to indicate signal strength and signal failure, all in one DIN rail mount industrial case.

Select the power level you need to punch through whatever distance and interference situations you encounter.

Zlinx solutions operate within the ISM 900MHz and 2.4GHz frequencies.

Coupled with extraordinary receiver sensitivity, this radio modem can full duplex over long distances and through the most difficult environments.

Special filtering technology blocks cellphone, pager and other wireless interference.

The modem can operate from 9600bit/s to 115.2Kbit/s and transfers RS232/422/485 serial signals.

Its over-the-air datarate is 115Kbit/s.

Each transceiver carries FCC approvals for use in the USA and IC approvals for Canada.

The modems provide 256bit AES encryption - the highest encryption standard available - for maximum security for sensitive data.

Power supplies can be from 10 to 48V DC or 18 to 30V AC.

The terminal block allows plug-and-play connection to RS232/485.

Other beneficial features to aid in troubleshooting include a signal strength indicator and a wireless failure output indicator.

The compact heavy-duty DIN mount industrial grade case and components with a half-wavelength dipole whip antenna saves panel or cabinet space.

Rugged circuitry and wide temperature range (-40 to +85C) can handle both indoor and outside applications.

This protection is especially attractive for applications such as Scada, electronic signs, and fleet management that constantly deal with electronic devices operating in fluctuating outdoor climates.
