BandB Electronics has featured Vlinx industrial Modbus Ethernet gateways in its latest catalogue.

They are a cost-effective way to connect serial Modbus ASCII/RTU serial devices with Modbus/TCP Ethernet, and resolve other Modbus-based conflicts.

The MESR Series gateways boast an extensive line-up of Ethernet fibre port configurations in addition to standard RJ-45 copper.

Also featured in the 2009 Winter catalogue are products in the Elinx line.

Rugged Gigabit and PoE Ethernet switches offer greater throughput speeds for higher bandwidths - even in extreme environments.

PoE switches transmit both data and power over Ethernet cabling.

Other products in the Vlinx line include industrial Ethernet to serial servers with numerous port configurations, including two Ethernet ports.

The Ulinx line introduces USB converters with a locked serial number feature for field applications.

The 132-page issue also showcases a wide array of Ethernet switches and media converters, wireless modems, serial converters, plus digital and analogue remote I/O.

The full line of fibre optics, cabling and connectors, non-metal enclosures, terminal blocks, surge protectors and power supply products are all available at competitive prices.
