The "savvy" software tools used for drive configuration and "drive.web" system design have been substantially enhanced with the release of a fully graphical signal flow diagram option.

"drive.web" is an entirely new, Internet accessible, distributed control technology optimised for industrial drives and systems.

It is infinitely expandable using TCP/IP over Ethernet to build cost effective systems of any size or complexity.

The free "drive.web savvy" graphical configuration tools and signal flow diagram option contain easy-to-use libraries of function blocks for logic, arithmetic, process control and communications.

The new signal flow diagram option provides a clear graphical presentation of the internal configuration of drives and "smarty" process controllers as well as connections and devices used in a complete control system.

Easy use is assured in even the largest of systems by powerful navigation features including browse, drill down, jump up/to/from, pan, zoom, connection tags with page and location data, find filters, hover text, overview pages and parameter docks.

A selection of standard ANSI and ISO drawing formats are available for high quality device and system documentation.

Unlike a typical PLC all "drive.web" devices store the entire graphical format of their configuration in the device together with an IP address for reliable, easy support either in the field or across the Internet from any location.

"savvy" also incorporates automated update notification and supports both software and firmware upgrades in the field via Internet transactions.

It comes complete with built-in manuals and "getting started" presentations in the "help" menu.
