Fibre-optic sensor for the small and
transparent
A new fibre-optic sensor unit with a speed of 120us is able to detect the smallest of objects of down to 15um diameter without supplementary optics.
A new fibre-optic sensor unit with a speed of 120us is able to detect the smallest of objects of down to 15um diameter without supplementary optics Using well-proven red-light technology even the most highly-transparent materials, such as glass wafers or foils, are detected safely and clearly
All operating modes such as contrast, position recognition and background suppression - as well as a fully automatic teach-in mode - can be selected using "jog dial" switches.
The new units also offer the option of individually determining the output pulse lengths between 1ms and 1s.
This can be an advantage if very small objects are to be counted or sorted at high speed in automatic handling units.
