Stainless-steel valves polish up nicely
The new E177 range of stainless-steel solenoid valves are designed for critical applications in the food, instrumentation, process control and pharmaceutical industries.
The standard SMR/7 solenoid valve is a well established product for Beta having been used in a wide range of applications using water, oil and air.
However the lack of approval to EN161:2002 made it unsuitable for use on gas-powered equipment manufactured for use with within the EU.
The new approval remedies this making the SMR/7 attractive to manufactures of equipment that uses butane, propane or natural gas.
The SMR/7 is a brass two-way normally closed direct acting solenoid valve with a 2mm-diameter orifice and 0.125in BSP (G) ports.
Both approved and nonapproved version of the valve are available from stock at Beta Valve.
