The 'Stealth' range of servo gearheads from Bayside Motion Group gives engineers a choice of product to suit most applications.

The 'Stealth' range of servo gearheads from Bayside Motion Group gives engineers a choice of product to suit most applications.

They are available in multiple frame sizes with ratios from 1:3 up to 100:1 and torques up to 2260Nm.

Common features across the range include advanced planetary design; plasma nitriding to produce robust, wear and shock resistant teeth; HeliCrown tooth design for quieter, smoother operation; and ServoMount which compensates for shaft run-out and misalignment for trouble-free installation.

For the most demanding applications, the 'Stealth PS' offers 30% more torque than similar frame size units, low backlash (5 min.

standard with 3 min.

option), low noise levels (68dB), input speeds up to 10,000rpm, 98% operating efficiency, plus 30% more stiffness than comparable units.

The 'Stealth PX' is a lower cost package that satisfies budget-sensitive, less demanding servo applications.

It offers a standard backlash of 15 min., 90% efficiency, high torque and allows input speeds up to 5000rpm.

Where space is tight, the compact, right-angle 'Stealth RS' helps to reduce the space envelope required without sacrifice to precision.

It is available in 7 frame sizes (60mm to 300mm) and 9 gear ratios from 5:1 to 100:1.

The 'Stealth MultiDrive' gearheads offer engineers three options for true flexibility.

Models include low ratio, dual shaft and hollow shaft options in right angle configurations.

Features include 90% efficiency, a 10 min.

backlash (5 min.

option), 8000rpm speed input, 3 frame sizes and ratios from 3:1 to 30:1.

Stealth gearheads can be sealed to various IP ratings and special versions can be supplied for high vacuum environments.
