Continuous duty versions of Bayside's Stealth planetary servo gearheads are now available.

Continuous duty versions of Bayside's Stealth planetary servo gearheads are now available.

They are specially engineered to provide continuous torque, precise speed control and quiet operation and are ideal for such applications such as conveyor systems, gantries and continuous flow packaging lines.

These new continuous duty units are offered in the same frame sizes (60 to 300) as the Stealth gearhead range with no derating of performance compared with equivalent size units.

Ratios are from 3:1 to 100:1.

In essence, these gearheads are designed to run 20% cooler than Bayside's standard Stealth products.

This enables them to provide continuous torque at predetermined speeds as opposed to the high peak demands typically required for servo based precision motion applications where Stealth gearheads are employed normally.

They also have the attraction of being fully field maintainable, eliminating the need for inconvenient shipping returns.
