A new range of low-cost, precision linear stages is available from Bayside Motion Group.
The stages are particularly suited for transporting loads at high speed, and can be employed for either single or multi-axis applications (x, y, z or gantry).
Central to stage design are a precision square rail and ball screw drive, which give precise lateral travel of up to 1500mm and bidirectional accuracies to +/-5mm with dynamic moments ranging from 90 to 515Nm plus low breakaway torque.
Screw speeds range up to 60rev/min.
Features also include simple motor attachment, single and dual carriage models and screw pitch options.
The low profile stages are manufactured in lightweight aluminium with a clear anodised body.
