Buckets nest to reduce storage space

A 4B Braime Elevator Components product story

Stackable CC-style polymer elevator buckets nest inside one another for reduced storage and shipping space and greater freight savings due to increased density and lower freight classification.

4B Braime has developed what it calls "the world's first stackable CC-style polymer elevator bucket".

It is stackable in the sense that the buckets nest inside one another for reduced storage and shipping space and greater freight savings due to increased density and lower freight classification.

The design includes tapered sides for improved filling and discharge, as well as the Iceberg Edget, a thick front lip design which eliminates bowing, therefore maintaining original capacity and a clean discharge.

The CC-S bucket provides greater durability and maximum wear life, said 4B Chief Engineer Jim Mawson.

"Buckets with thinner front lip designs tend to wear more quickly and over time can develop back-legging or down-legging problems," he said.

The bucket comes in 35 sizes and is moulded from virgin white additive free HDP, nylon or urethane.

The wingless profile allows for closer spacing and improved capacities.

Bucket sizes range from 7.6 by 5.1cm to 51 by 20cm.
