BEI Ideacod has added a family of heavy duty versions to its range of rotary encoders.
BEI Ideacod has added a family of heavy duty versions to its range of rotary encoders.
The new Robustech range is designed to operate between -40 degrees C to +100 degrees C and to resist extreme loads, shocks and vibrations.
The internal components help ensure a long lifespan even in the most challenging environments, and advanced control of LED emissions reduces ageing and minimises temperature effects.
Robustech features DIP switch programmable resolutions up to 96000 cpt and a frequency response of 300 KHz as standard.
Higher frequency responses are available on request.
A number of different voltage options are available, such as universal push-pull 5-30 Volt or -36 Volt, as well as 5 Volt RS422.
Solutions for long cables are offered in either 5-30 Volt supply, regulated output 5 Volt RS422, or in transistorised push-pull 11-30 Volt.
1 Volt peak-to-peak sine wave versions are also available.
It can be supplied in a number of connection type and cable entry options.
A terminal box version features an LED display to check operation and to assist in commissioning.
IP67 rated and stainless versions are also available for more hostile environments.
BEI Ideacods Maxcontrol system is also being offered as an option for all Robustech devices.
Maxcontrol allows the temperature, shocks, vibrations, supply voltage, quality of the signals and reading errors to be monitored for each encoder.
The Robustech family complements BEI Ideacods existing range of incremental and absolute encoder products, which includes well known brands like Digisine, ATEX and Blue Range.
