Beckhoff has added more I/O types to the 150 plus modules that make up the Fieldbus Box, claimed to be the industry's slimmest IP67 machine mountable I/O block.

Daisychaining Fieldbus Box modules has required an additional costly T connector piece because the very slim module only had one network connector, located on the top of the module.

Beckhoff's new Fieldbus Box with integrated T replaces the single network connection with two connectors thus eliminating the need for an additional T connector.

The new Fieldbus Box is also available with integrated IP-Link interface The IP-Link interface allows for the connection of extension modules which are lower cost than Fieldbus Box modules with Profibus, Devicenet or Ethernet interface.
