A Belden product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Dec 12, 2005

A new range of high precision miniature joints are suited specifically for miniature machinery, medical equipment, model making and many applications in which space is restricted.

Universal joint manufacturer Belden has a new range of high precision miniature joints.

With an outer diameter as small as 8mm, the new joints are suited specifically for miniature machinery, medical equipment, model making and many applications in which space is restricted.

Originally developed in 303 stainless steel for a manually operated minimal invasive surgical instrument, the miniature joints are also available in various grades of stainless steel and alloy heat-treated steel.

The standard version has an operational angle of deflection of up to 35 degrees.

On request, Belden can develop modified versions with a higher angle of deflection or double universal joint assemblies.
