Beko Technologies has just introduced a new version of its Bekosplit compressed air, condensate and emulsion splitting plant, which is ideal for smaller applications and installations.
The course has been designed specifically for compressed air industry management.
BCAS's aim is that the course will put qualified and knowledgeable people into senior positions within the industry.
Desmond Wall, the director general of the society said: "The Diploma in Compressed Air Management is a milestone for the compressed air industry, being the first training of its type available." The Beko employees who completed the course - Michael Argent, Dennis Winder, Richard Spires and Michael Amphlett - are now the first of a new generation of managers with a recognised qualification in this field.

Compressed air process control problems solved
Beko Technologies has launched a new Talkback service through its website, where UK companies can post problems or technical difficulties they are having in compressed air process control.
In addition, they will be able to pass their knowledge from the course onto their own employees and colleagues.
Consisting of 10 modules, the course covered most aspects of compressed air including compressed air as a power medium, legislative and safety implications, the storage of compressed air, compressor types, compressed air installation and management implications.
Each module was accompanied with self-assessment questions and answers.
Seventy five candidates enrolled for the course which is currently only open to members of the society.
An overall pass rate of 82% was achieved by those who sat the April/May examinations.
Fifteen merits were awarded along with three distinctions, one of which was presented to Beko employee, Michael Amphlett.
Michael Argent, general manager of Beko said: "I would like to congratulate my colleagues on passing the exam and for the commitment given to this pioneering formal training and educational venture.
It is Beko's policy to provide training at all levels to its personnel, and I feel that this particular course is essential for anyone involved in the business of compressed air management.
I would also like to say well done to all of the people that were responsible for the setting up and administration of the course, and good luck to all current and future candidates." BCAS believes that there is a great deal of benefit in people on long distance learning courses working together, and Mr Wall commented that the Beko employees, who did this, were a good example of the success of this practice.
