Compressed air company opens Chinese
branch
Beko Technologies, the German manufacturer of the full range of accessories for compressed air equipment, has opened another international subsidiary in the form of Beko Technologies Dalian in China
Beko Technologies GmbH - the German based manufacturer of the full range of accessories for compressed air equipment - has opened another international subsidiary in the form of Beko Technologies Dalian Co Ltd, of China The move is designed to consolidate Beko's position in the immense Asian market The addition of the new China branch brings the total of international Beko branches to seven, including the UK operation based in Bromsgrove, which has been established for over 10 years

Beko Technologies has launched a new Talkback service through its website, where UK companies can post problems or technical difficulties they are having in compressed air process control.
Since that initial contact in 1996, Leader has been selling Beko products into the Chinese market.
In only two years, and with considerable dedication, Dong Pengju has set up the basic structure for a nationwide marketing network throughout the various Chinese provinces.
However, the rapid and ongoing development of this market has meant that in 1999 the technical and manpower capacity of the Leader Co.
had reached its limits.
In view of the proven market demand, Leader and Beko opened talks on intensifying and improving the co-operation.
The result is the new Beko Technologies Dalian Co, Ltd., the first high-tech company to be situated in the free trade zone in Dalian.
Dong Pengju is now the manager of the new Beko subsidiary.
He is supported by Shi Mingmei and Zhao Enhao.
All the employees of Leader Co who possessed important country-specific knowledge have been transferred to the new Beko.
On December 11th the official opening took place, with many officials being present for the ceremony including Norbert Rosemeijer from the German parent company.
Dong Pengju will be 37 years old in January.
He is married and has an 11 year old daughter and a stepson.
In his free time he is interested in audio/video technology and computers.
Because he is also interested in foreign cultures, he enjoys communicating with the other Beko subsidiaries to get ideas on how to sell Beko products and to learn from experience in the various markets.
Dalian, the location of the new Beko subsidiary, is in the province of Liaoning in north-east China.
It is a young city, at the tip of a peninsula jutting into the Yellow Sea, and it has one of the most important ports of the country.
As a free-trade area it is also one of the focal locations for foreign companies setting up operations in China.
