Air contamination remover in smaller size
Beko Technologies has just introduced a new version of its Bekosplit compressed air, condensate and emulsion splitting plant, which is ideal for smaller applications and installations.
It detects leaks, which generate high-frequency ultrasound, through a microphone that the operator trains on any area where a leak may be present.
If a leak is present the device gives an audio alarm via headphones, and also a visual indication on an integral display.
The Beko Leak Detector can detect every leak, even at long distances up to 15m.
It can also detect leaks in places that are not easily accessible.
Sensitivity can be adjusted to allow even very small leaks to be located.
A memory function shows the highest measured value so works managers can prioritise their system maintenance.
Headphones are included to allow audio detection within a noisy factory environment.

Beko points to recent figures that show up to 25-30%, or even 50% in extreme cases, of compressed air is wasted in a typical industrial installation.
The British Compressed Air Society recommends a regular programme of leak checking throughout the compressed air system.
Once a leak is detected it can be repaired by a qualified engineer.
