Compressed-air heater prevents icing of valves

A Beko Technologies product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Mar 19, 2009

Beko is offering the improved Clearpoint compressed-air heater, which can adjust the temperature of leaving compressed-air by between 30C and 60C.

Expansion coldness results from quickly expanding compressed air.

This can lead to icing of valves and controllers, impairing the process reliability and profitability of compressed-air plants.

By adjusting the temperature of the leaving compressed air, the Clearpoint compressed-air heater reduces the relative humidity, protects the consumer and accelerates manufacturing processes.

The latest Clearpoint heater has a more reliable heating element, even at highest or lowest utilisation and during an intermittent operating mode.

The compressed-air heater is available now.
