Belt Technologies Europe has introduced a range of steel belts with attachments which can be used to engage lead frames, perforated webs or any type of customised part.

This makes them ideal for automated assembly inspection systems that require precision indexing relative to a series of fixed work stations located along the surface of the belt.

Alternatively, attachments can also be designed to convey components through an assembly or test procedure.

The combination of attachments and the inherent design characteristics of the company's steel belt range will appeal to many different industrial applications.

An extremely high strength to weight ratio, durability and high level of repeatability are complemented by low noise, a lubrication free operating environment as well as good thermal and electrical conductivity.

There is also freedom from static build-up which is an important consideration for applications within the electronics industry.

Importantly the belts also offer high temperature resistance, which can be critical in some production environments.
