Belt Technologies has expanded production of stainless-steel tobacco belts.

Following significant growth in worldwide sales in recent years, the company has opened a dedicated production line to manufacture this important range of products at its headquarters in Agawam, Massachusetts, USA.

Stainless-steel gripper and smooth suction bands are available in an extensive range, covering most of the major tobacco and cigarette machine builders' machinery.

Stainless-steel belts are used in this particular application due to their excellent mechanical properties, strength and cleanliness.

Belts are made endless using proprietary welding technology, which ensures the strength and quality of the weld is unsurpassed.

Indeed, in tests against similar products in the market the Belt Technologies' product lasted on average 25% longer, giving significant efficiencies and cost savings to its customers.

This dedicated production line will result in a faster turn around of orders, ready to meet the increasing needs of the tobacco processing industry.
