Spanish horizontal pouch machine manufacturer Enflex has launched a machine that both adds the cap while forming the pouch and then fills the pouch through the cap The machine is designed for liquid products such as fruit juice, isotonic drinks and apple compote, it is said
At the heart of the machine is the pouch transport system, which is supplied by Belt Technologies Europe, which worked with Enflex engineers to integrate the steel belt, which is said to provide very accurate positioning with a pitch-to-pitch accuracy of 0.051 to 0.0127mm.
This minimises fill time and maximises the machine's efficiency, mainly because unlike other belts this steel belt unit does not stretch.
