Adding to its growing family of dependable, durable position sensors, BEI Industrial Encoder Division introduces a new line of linear encoders The LN series linear encoders provide rapid, accurate and repeatable position feedback with a unique rugged design

Featuring a stainless steel scale, sealed read head and industry leading IP67 environmental rating, LN linear encoders offer exceptional resistance to shock, vibration, and contaminants.

This sturdy design reduces the risk of breakage and system downtime.

LN linear encoders are able to operate in harsh industrial environments with no air purging system required.

Dust, liquids, and debris will not affect its performance.

Designed with a noncontacting system of measurement, there are no parts to wear out, eliminating costly maintenance.

LN linear encoders are ideal for a wide variety of applications, including machine control, automated processes, and pick and place operations.

Standard measuring resolutions of 0.5 to 10um are available.

Scale measuring lengths range from as small as 50mm to as long as 10m.

The LN linear encoder operates between 5 and 28V DC and is equipped with either line driver or open collector outputs.

Universal mounting adapters and a variety of standard electrical interfaces make them easy to integrate into a control system.
