Compact Rodless Cylinders Available
Overnight
Oval piston rodless cylinders provide greater force for a given envelope size, frequently reducing the cost of an installation; improved load carrying capacity, often eliminating the need for guides.
Oval piston rodless cylinders provide greater force for a given envelope size, frequently reducing the cost of an installation; improved load carrying capacity, often eliminating the need for guides and increasing life and they are available overnight from Berendsen PMC The Vickers-CKD rodless cylinder range supplied by Berendsen offers marked technical advantages over conventional rodless designs

Larger capacity for hydraulic motors
Eaton has introduced larger capacity versions of their hydraulic low speed high torque geroler J series motors. Eaton J-02 motors give a substantial source of rotary power in a very compact envelope.
Complete Self Feed Drilling Systems introduced
Berendsen's new self feed drill units, supplied by Compair Tools and Equipment, combine an air or electric motor with a double acting pneumatic cylinder and associated control valves in one unit.
The oval piston design gives a greater load bearing area and test results have shown that these cylinders typically offer three times the load capacity, size for size of conventional non-guided rodless cylinders.
Also, as the load bears on the cylinder bore and not on the sealing area, the seal life is typically six times as long, these benefits are particularly marked when off centre loads are carried.
A new piston seal mechanism has been designed that offers higher operating speeds (up to 2 m/s) and minimal leakage reducing wastage and increasing speed & position control.
These new cylinders are available in ten bore sizes from 12 to 100 mm and in any length up to five metres.
They have a magnetic piston as standard and the position sensors fit into an integral body rail making for an extremely compact and neat installation.
Ease of installation is further enhanced by the port options, they can be positioned on one side, both sides or on one end.
Vickers can manufacture cylinders in 24 hours and Berendsen can arrange delivery on the day they are completed however next day delivery is normally sufficient.
The advent of these world-beating cylinders compliments Berendsen's extensive range of pneumatic components.
Berendsen have a wealth of experience in the design and specification of pneumatic systems they can provides their customers with a complete solution to their automation requirements from the interpretation and identification of the requirement to the design, manufacture and installation of an appropriate and integrated system.
