Ultraminiature outline for low-pressure regulator

A Beswick Engineering product story

A new ultraminiature pressure regulator can control outlet pressures down to 0.5lb/in2(g).

A new ultraminiature pressure regulator can control outlet pressures down to 0.5lb/in2(g).

The new PRD-1-N-1 regulator sets an industry standard for miniaturisation as well as lightweight.

It is an excellent choice for gas and pneumatic pressure regulation applications.

Customers will find it particularly useful when space and weight are critical.

Maximum width is 1.03in and maximum height is 1in (body height is only 0.69in).

The PRD-1-N-1 weighs only 26.5g in brass and only 15g in aluminium.

The PR-1-N-1 controls output pressures from 0 to 30lb/in2(g) and is especially suited to low pressure regulation such as 0.5 lb/in2(g).

Output pressure adjustments are made with a screwdriver.

Maximum rated inlet supply pressure is 300lb/in2(g).

Both the inlet and the outlet ports are tapped 10-32 UNF.

Its lightweight allows convenient in-line mounting without the need for panel mounting.

The PRD-1-N-1 nonrelieving regulator is currently available in brass.

It will also be available in aluminium for ultra-light weight and 303 Stainless Steel for corrosion resistance.

The O-ring seals and the diaphragm are Buna-N.

Optional seal and diaphragm materials are available on request.

Applications include hydrogen fuel cells, medical equipment, instruments, laboratory equipment, ink jet print engines and semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
