A product specifically designed to cut the cost and time traditionally associated with the maintenance of nozzles used for spray drying applications is available for the first time in the UK
Offering several unique (patented) features, the product will be of interest across a wide range of processing sectors, and particularly in the brewing, food, beverage, dairy, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Available for just GBP 67, and delivering a high-impact scrubbing action via a self-powered rotary head, the Bete ScrubMate offers extremely effective cleaning in applications where relatively viscous substances are used.
This is achieved through the product's patented head design which rotates slowly and creates large droplets for increased washing impact.
The head is designed to be mist-reducing and, because ScrubMate operates at low pressures (typically 3bar) and low flow rates, it offers exceptionally high economy.
The product also features a patented self-cleaning feature.
This incorporates a downward wash-jet for cleaning centralised agitator units, and a cleaning stream which is also directed to the point of entry, top half and sides of the tank for maximum cleaning efficiency.
The ScrubMate is particularly useful in cleaning processes where the head is positioned to spray upward, since it is designed to eliminate backward spray.
With no ball bearings to corrode, the ScrubMate is an extremely robust and compact device, which will fit openings of 49, 72 and 35mm.
The product delivers flow rates of 66-283 litre/min, an effective scrubbing diameter of up to 9ft, and an effective rinsing diameter of up to 18ft (depending on pipe size).
