BF Group has launched the Axiom P5000 touchscreen panel PC, suitable for use in industrial and harsh environments.

The unit supports Celeron, Pentium III or Cyrix MIII (Socket370 FC-PGA) at 66/100 MHz FSB, and incorporates a 1 DIMM socket supporting up to 256MB SDRAM.

Two different display options are offered.

The 12.1" SVGA TFT display is available with panel brightness 250cd/m2.

Alternatively the 15" XGA TFT display is available with 200cd/m2 panel brightness.

Resistive touchscreens are standard across the range.

With built in facilities such as 10-100 base-t Ethernet, CD Rom and floppy drives on the 15" models, the P5000 offers versatility and choice.

Suitable for applications such as point of information (POI) units and web kiosks, the P5000 can easily integrated into customer specific units.

BF Group offers a full customisation service for these Panel PCs from its Swindon-based office, BF Image Technologies.

Based on the enclosures offered by Axiom, a solution can be found to fit practically any customer specific request.
