BF Group has introduced sunlight readable displays featuring advanced matrix technology, that includes both amorphous and poly-silicon transmissive displays.

The displays have a panel surface brightness of 700-1000cd/m2.

Panel sizes range from 10.4" up to 20.1", and from VGA to SXGA resolution displays.

High brightness displays can be supplied with either an anti-glare or anti-reflection polariser finish.

Typical applications for sunlight readable displays are ATMs, kiosks, POS (Point of Sale), EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale), EFTPOS (Electronic Fund Transfer Point of Sale), public information terminals, passenger information displays, and marine instrumentation.

BF also provides bespoke sunlight readable computers, using transflective active matrix colour LCD technology offering cost effective outdoor performance for power sensitive applications.
