Bartec (UK) continues to expand its distribution network in Scotland with the appointment of Sterling-based hazardous area specialist Dron and Dickson to develop sales of the company's wide range of EEXd motors and to increase their market share of electric trace heating products and systems Bartec's range of flameproof electric motors are specifically designed to "meet and beat" the highest demands in hazardous operational areas and offer high quality, optimum reliability and performance, low maintenance and long life expectancy, especially in the oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical industries as well as operating efficiently in demanding environments within general industry

Bartec, also this year, celebrates 10 years of successful product sales through John Maclean and Sons, which has been responsible for the steady turnover of Bartec's range of control and connection equipment, especially the company's Ex range of Zones 1 and 2, terminal and distribution boxes and Ex area enclosures.
