The BAT 300 and BAT 800 are the latest additions to Bartec's highly successful BAT VGA pro range of Ex terminals.
It is connected as a second monitor to a PC workstation in the safe area, via easily installed electronic components, connected to each other by a four-pair STP (shielded twisted pair) cable that can be up to 200m in length.
The screen itself is an 18.1in TFT display unit that is characterised by its high definition and extremely large viewing angle.
Both the display and the fully integrated internal electrical system are explosion protected by means of a flameproof enclosure.
The MF-11 keyboard and PS/2 mouse comply with Ex protection type "intrinsically safe" as the system barriers are also located within a flameproof enclosure.
