An ATEX certified series of high performance photoelectric barriers offer switching operations over long distances, even through highly polluted atmospheres.

ATEX certified, the Bartec 07-6521 series of photoelectric barriers are part of a range of high performance devices that allow for the excellent transmissions of information and switching operations over long distances, through highly polluted atmospheres The Bartec 100m photoelectric barrier comprises an infra-red photoelectric pair that combines the advantages of the latest photoelectric technology with explosion protection and compact design

Highly sensitive and effective up to a range of 100m, the receiver and amplifier form a compact integrated unit, with the receiver amplifier being sensitive to the light emitted from its own transmitter.

Owing to the use of high intensity, pulsating light renders the device immune to interference from other light sources that sometimes occur in connection lines from separately mounted amplifiers.

Explosion protected to EEx d 11C T6, the Bartec 200m device is ideal in environments containing dust, steam or coloured mist and can also be operated in areas of "dead air".

Equipped with an operating status LED, the unit's high quality electronic components are housed in equally sized rugged nickel-plated brass enclosures with epoxy resin encapsulated cable tails, giving the product sturdy protection against wear, physical shock and polarity reversal and guaranteeing the device remains fully operational, even under the most extreme conditions.

The maintenance output of Bartec's high performance photoelectric barriers, have been set to a 70% power drop value.

The remaining 30% margin permits essential cleaning to be scheduled when necessary.

To fully complement the devices, Bartec has also developed a special range of particularly minute EEx terminal boxes in polyester or aluminium for the proper connection of the factory-encapsulated cable ends.
