CAE technology conference attracts big guns
This year's Altair Technology Conference will take place on 2nd November at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon.
The BFPA said that the website was listed third in Yahoo.com and fourth in Google.com, just behind the US organisation National Fluid Power Association "and way ahead of BFPA's European counterparts".
The BFPA's industry promotion magazine, "Fluid power at the forefront", now features in the website's e-learning section, which uses the new Microsoft LRN technology and conforms to the IMS e-learning standards.
This needs Internet Explorer 5/6 minimum and, says the BFPA, is much better with a sound card, making future editions of training programmes on the site easier to arrange.
The website is designed for broadband access, and sound is now available on the site.
