The British Fluid Power Association and the British Fluid Power Distributors Association website now features a more colourful, crisp appearance having been completely revamped The website has lots of new features and the site now regularly receives over 80,000 hits per month

The BFPA said that the website was listed third in Yahoo.com and fourth in Google.com, just behind the US organisation National Fluid Power Association "and way ahead of BFPA's European counterparts".

The BFPA's industry promotion magazine, "Fluid power at the forefront", now features in the website's e-learning section, which uses the new Microsoft LRN technology and conforms to the IMS e-learning standards.

This needs Internet Explorer 5/6 minimum and, says the BFPA, is much better with a sound card, making future editions of training programmes on the site easier to arrange.

The website is designed for broadband access, and sound is now available on the site.
