Retiring BFPA Membership Liaison Manager John Stanley welcomes his successor, Martin Kingsbury.
With John Stanley, the BFPA's long serving Membership Liaison Manager retiring at the end of July, an experienced and safe pair of hands to take over needed to be found.
BFPA Director Ian Morris in conjunction with John Stanley set about the task of finding a replacement and settled on 46 year-old Martin Kingsbury whose 25 years in the Fluid Power Industry, in a variety of technical and management positions, made him the ideal candidate.
Morris takes up the story: "The BFPA develops and maintains excellent contact with its members by having a dedicated Membership Liaison Manager".
"This is a vital role and we feel that Martin Kingsbury will continue developing the business using John's extensive contact structure and network through which the BFPA has derived much of its success".
Kingsbury's previous positions have seen him amass considerable industry experience.
At 46 years old he combines energy with experience in a role he feels he can make his own.
Kingsbury commenced work on 1st August and will contact as many existing members as he can in his first few months in order to introduce himself.
He had this to say: "I acknowledge the role so adequately performed by my predecessor and I expect to function in a very similar style".
"Members and potential members should see a seamless integration as John Stanley leaves and I take over".
"I am looking forward to the challenge enormously".
