Fair exposure adds to association's
appeal
Membership enquiries underline the BFPA's growing reputation as the UK's foremost trade association for the pneumatic and hydraulic power industries.
Although the Hanover Fair is still Europe's largest exhibition, visitor numbers have struggled in the past few years That said, the BFPA stand at this years' exhibition received more than three times the expected number of visitors, and astonished stand staff worked ceaselessly to meet demand, especially on 18th and 19th April, the busiest days at the show

Jargon buster cuts through the ATEX jungle
ABB has published an "ATEX jargon buster" that helps motor users cut through the jungle of terms and definitions that make up the new ATEX Directives.
BFPA stand management were delighted that so many members came to utilise the stand facilities and found themselves dealing with a large number of membership enquiries which underlines the BFPA's growing reputation as the UK's foremost trade association for the pneumatic and hydraulic power industries.
Much of this reputation stems from the quite superb assistance the association gives, helping members stay ahead of legislation for example or assisting them whenever possible to secure major contracts both at home and abroad.
Membership of the BFPA affords access a huge raft of information from technical advice to critical industry surveys.
Properly used, this information offers considerable commercial advantage.
With BFPA assistance, member companies seek and obtain contracts in countries all over the world where British technical expertise is still very highly regarded.
Hanover 2007 provided exceptional exposure for BFPA members and is already regarded as particularly successful for all concerned.
To build on its current successes, the BFPA will be taking a number of groups to PTC Asia which runs from 10th to 13th October 2007 as well as MDA India in Bangladore which runs from 4th to 7th December 2007.
Both are important international engineering shows, smaller than the internationally renowned Hanover Fair but with very similar formats.
