Membership boom shows health of UK
hydraulics

A number of indicators relating to the hydraulics and pneumatic industry confirm that business is doing well.

The British Fluid Power Association reports substantial growth in membership numbers, with a record 26 new members joining in 2007 Martin Kingsbury, Membership Manager, who joined the BFPA at the end of June 2006, says: "The industry is buoyant at the moment"

"A number of indicators relating to the hydraulics and pneumatic industry confirm that business is doing well which ultimately is reflected in our membership".

Kingsbury continues: "We now offer so much".

"For example, we hold good quality events such as the statistical seminar at the RBS Williams F1 Conference Centre in Grove, Oxfordshire recently, plus our publicity is so good now".

"We now represent over 375 sites in the UK".

"Membership growth over the last 20 months has been running at about two per month".

"We are succeeding in meeting the membership requirements and expectations which ultimately reflects in the rising numbers we are seeing".
