Shows illustrate Indian thirst for UK
engineering
The BFPA's British Pavilion at three recent exhibitions in Bangalore helped dozens of UK specialist companies benefit from exposure to the Indian market.
The BFPA British Pavilion attracted a record number of visitors at the largest three-part show to take place in the recently opened exhibition and trade show centre in Bangalore, India Running from 4th to 7th December 2007, the three exhibitions were CeMAT India, MDA India and the prestigious Industrial Automation India

Many exhibitors, including the BFPA reported establishing a large number of quality contacts and leads each day.
Many, including BFPA executives, agreed that India offers a huge market opportunity for British engineering specialists.
Demand in the region is high for British technology, products and expertise and the special relationship between the two countries helps enormously.
India is advancing rapidly.
Huge economic growth has to be supported by improved infrastructure, communications and transport and the government, locally and nationally, are doing all they can to help encourage the private and public partnerships that will achieve the goals.
Pneumatics and hydraulics play a massive part in the overall picture and the BFPA in its lead role of hosting the British Pavilion is helping dozens of UK specialist companies benefit.
The construction of major international exhibition centres in the region such as that at Bangalore, further underlines the importance of the commercial opportunities that are now available to UK companies.
