Sposorship fosters the future of
engineering
The Arkwright Scholarship Trust is dedicated to encouraging the young to become career engineers.
In a move designed to help interested children take up engineering as a profession, the BFPA has agreed to sponsor five students through the highly respected Arkwright Scholarship Trust, which is dedicated to encouraging the young to become career engineers For some decades now the Government and many education establishments and authorities seem to have placed considerable emphasis on academic achievement as the yardstick for success in the young, a policy that has seen engineering and many other important vocational careers lack respect among the general population

BFPA members companies will encourage the students further by offering the opportunity for work experience periods during their A level courses.
