Blue Chip Technology and Aaeon have begun a partnership that will enhance their position in the computer-on-module (COM) arena.
The alliance with Aaeon will significantly expand the choice of COM boards Blue Chip can offer its customers.
The Aaeon COM portfolio features a range of different industry formats and the latest innovations in processor technologies, including a complete series of Atom-based boards.
The new product introductions will include COM Express, XTX and ETX cores, covering a range of CPU performances, power budgets, upgrade paths and price points, which will meet the requirements of a large cross-section of embedded applications.
The COM design concept is particularly suited to this type of strategic partnership, allying a comprehensive range of COM cores to local, in-depth expertise in customer host-board design - be it a ground-up development or support in bringing up an in-house design project.
