TT electronics has developed a steering sensor based on its Magnetorque technology, designed to track the relative positions of two steering shaft segments that are connected by a torsion bar.

Redundant output is available, and stroke size ranges from 0.5 to 6.0in.
The sensor also comes standard with leads, but BI Technologies will incorporate customer-defined harnesses on request.
