The complete range of over 2000 standard Bighead fasteners is now available as 2D and 3D CAD drawings on a free CD.

The Bighead fastening system - invented 40 years ago - was originally designed for use in moulded plastics, GRP and composite structures, to provide a uniquely effective fastening system with many advantages over other fixing methods.

With its large and growing penetration into industries such as auto, marine and specialist composites structures, Bighead Bonding Fasteners has now made its complete range freely available in CAD form, to help engineers and designers incorporate the system at the design stage.

The drawings are also being added to Bighead's comprehensive website.

Torque and tensile specifications for all variants are being inserted progressively, helping designers comply with specified shear strength and tensile resistance requirements.

The drawings are all in dxf format, and conform to AutoCAD Release 14 onwards.

For companies not equipped with AutoCAD, 2D drawings can also be supplied in pdf format.
