The all-new B20 BigHead, available in mild or 316 stainless steel, has been launched in response to specific requests from a number of the company's customers.

As with all BigHeads, the range is available with a variety of stud profiles and lengths (M1/B20's) as well as with female hexnuts (F1/B20's) or collars (F2/B20's).

Thread profiles range from M3 to M8, with stud lengths from 12mm to 100mm.

The 20mm.

diameter head that gives the new fastener its name produces a true multi-purpose fastening solution, already being incorporated into composites and metal fabrications for the Auto, Marine and Construction industries.

Its compact dimensions and high lateral stress-resistance when bonded, glued or moulded-in enable engineers to design in a very strong fixing point in inaccessible and complex installations.

In addition to the standard male and female thread options, the B20 can be fitted with 3mm.

nails up to 75mm in length, or plain 4.75mm.

pins up to 50mm.

in length; both are available in a choice of mild or 316 stainless steel.

The new BigHead is produced on the company's latest twin-head auto welder, designed in-house for true 100% zero-defect output.

BigBond, the company's own specialist adhesives range, makes successful surface mounting of the new fastener a simple and effective design option onto virtually any substrate.

Its high performance two-part acrylic adhesive, for example, achieves a shear strength rating of 3500 lbs./sq in.
