Linear guide wheels feature one-piece
design
New integral bushing and stud shaft wheels feature a one-piece design where the wheel bearing inner raceway is ground into the wheel bushing or wheel stud shaft.
New from Bishop-Wisecarver Corp are DualVee integral bushing (BWI) and stud shaft (SWI) wheels The patent pending design of the BWI and SWI wheels features a one-piece design where the wheel bearing inner raceway is ground into the wheel bushing or wheel stud shaft
The advantages of the one-piece design compared with the conventional two-piece guide wheels (wheels with separate bushing or journals) include: lower profile and increased rigidity resulting in up to 84% less deflection; larger diameter fasteners resulting in up to 25% greater torque (holding) capability; less tolerance stack-up; external adjustment and tightening; and lower procurement and installation costs.
The SWI and BWI DualVee wheels are available in carbon steel, stainless steel, and polymer overmoulded stainless steel construction.
